La presentación del libro Los orishas en Cuba a principios de los años noventa, en la UNEAC, devino una suerte de concentración frente a la Sala Rubén Martínez Villena. Había personas hasta en la calle 17. Yo estaba allí porque no le podía fallar a la autora, Natalia Bolívar, porque el libro ya yo lo tenía con una preciosa dedicatoria. Natalia con su batón largo y un montón de collares, de momento para mi asombro, sonrió y caminó hacia un sacerdote que se acercaba, vestido con larga sotana, y también con una sonrisa en los labios, era Monseñor Carlos Manuel de Céspedes.
