El escritor cubano estadounidense, Óscar Hijuelos, el primer novelista de origen latino en ganar el Premio Pulitzer de ficción por su obra "Los Reyes del Mambo tocan canciones de amor", murió este sábado en la ciudad de Nueva York a los 62 años edad. La información fue dada a conocer por este domingo por el diario The New York Times. El diario reseña que según informó su esposa, Lisa Marie Carlson, el escritor estaba jugando al tenis y se desplomó sobre la pista.
