Doce fotos conmueven las redes sociales

Una pareja de ancianos del Reino Unido ha protagonizado buena parte del tráfico en Twitter y Facebook esta semana. No se sabe muy bien el origen, pero se trata de una secuencia de fotografías que algunos datan de 1973 y cuya autoría podría corresponder al fotógrafo Ken Griffiths. En ella se aprecia a dos ancianos posando ante una casa que parece situada en pleno campo.

Desde Potosí partimos a Sucre, capital del Departamento de Chuquisaca, conocida también como la ciudad de los cuatro nombres: “Charcas”, “La Plata”, “Chuquisaca” y “Sucre”. Se dice que está es la capital oficial del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia. Y en cierta forma lo es. En esa ciudad, al sur del país, radica el Poder Judicial, mientras que en La Paz están los poderes legislativo y ejecutivo.

La situación cubana actual es la de una abierta batalla cultural entre el socialismo y el capitalismo. A favor del último, entre otros factores, estaría la sujeción progresiva a su cultura, la única que ha logrado universalizarse, y que hoy conserva un formidable poderío y numerosos atractivos. ¿Serán capaces los jóvenes cubanos de convertir esta revolución socio-tecnológica en un lugar efectivo de de creaciones, de actuación social y política, de lucha y de placer liberadores?
