A partir del 3 de enero entran en vigor las normas para la compra-venta de vehículos. Las precisiones sobre el proceso están recogidas en la Gaceta Oficial Extraordinaria No. 46, de ayer 31 de diciembre, en la que se publica un decreto-ley del Consejo de Estado, otro decreto del Consejo de Ministros, y tres resoluciones de los ministerios de Economía y Planificación, de Finanzas y Precios, y de Transporte.

Hacía un día de primaveral dulzura, anegado por esa luz refulgente y ese aire cristalino tan característicos del mágico diciembre cubano. Llegaban olores del océano cercano y se oían las verdes palmeras mecidas por una lánguida brisa. En uno de esos “paladares” que abundan ahora en La Habana, estaba yo almorzando con una amiga. De pronto, sonó el teléfono. Era mi contacto: “La persona que deseabas ver, te está esperando en media hora. Date prisa.” Lo dejé todo, me despedí de la amiga y me dirigí al lugar indicado. Allí me aguardaba un discreto vehículo cuyo chófer puso de inmediato rumbo hacia el oeste de la capital.
